Mechanical handling is used in road transport when items are moved with a forklift or a pallet jack. An excellent solution is a casing attached to the pallet or a case with pallet skids. The cargo cases are designed in accordance to the ISTA standard and they can be allowed to be transported in road freight or a shipping container.
